Where is Platter Co. based?

We’re based in Geelong, Victoria. Platter Co was Geelong’s first grazing platter business, waaayyy back in 2016.


Can I customise my Platter Co. Platter Box or Grazing TABLE Platter?

Absolutely! We welcome custom orders and can work with you to create a platter box or grazing platter to better suit your event or occasion.


WILL MY BOOKING GO AHEAD WITHOUT PAYMENT PRIOR TO THE BOOKING DATE?

No, payment in full for all boxes must be made at least 24 hours prior to the booking date. No table booking is confirmed until the deposit payment is received. Your remainder invoice will be issued 7-14 days prior to your event and the final payment is due on receipt.

If this is not possible due to administrative or accounts processing time, please contact Stacey directly once the invoice is issued to discuss options.


CAN I PICK UP MY GRAZING PLATTER?

Yes, collection from Belmont is available upon request. Otherwise, if the specified delivery windows we offer don’t suit, please contact us and we’ll do our best to accommodate.


Can Platter Co. cater for dietary requirements?

Yes, we can cater for some dietary requirements. We offer vegan, vegetarian, dairy-free, egg-free and nut-free grazing platters, generally substituting in mixed olives, popcorn, alternate crackers, chocolate, dip and vegan cheeses to order. If there’s a specific inclusion you want to order, let us know! There is an extra charge for all customised platter boxes and grazing table platters.

For gluten-free, things get a touch trickier. We take every precaution to avoid cross-contact issues when preparing platters without any gluten-containing inclusions. Though, if you’re a coeliac or you’re wanting to gift one of our platters to a coeliac, all of our boxes are prepared in the same space, meaning we do not guarantee any of our platters are gluten-free. Peace!


Can Platter Co. deliver outside of Geelong?

Sure, we deliver grazing boxes to Geelong CBD and Greater Geelong, the Bellarine Peninsula, Surfcoast and surrounds regularly. Please get in touch for table bookings or delivery enquiries for Melbourne CBD and other suburbs. Delivery is charged based on travel time. All orders have a delivery fee added.


WHAT IF THE RECIPIENT ISN’T HOME WHEN A GRAZING BOX IS DELIVERED?

Please ensure you select a delivery window when you or the recipient will be at or close by the delivery address to receive the grazing box. If there is no one to receive the delivery, the grazing box will be left in a safe place at the recipient’s front door stoop, under shade wherever possible. The delivery driver will then send a text message to both the recipient and sender to let them know the box will need to be collected and refrigerated within the hour. Where we have delivered within the agreed delivery window on the booked date, Platter Co. does not accept any responsibility for boxes not collected or refrigerated within stipulated and safe timeframes.


I want to book a Grazing table platter. Does Platter Co. ask for a deposit to secure bookings?

Yes, we ask for a 50% deposit to secure all grazing table bookings. This deposit is non-refundable. Being booked 6-12+ months in advance for weddings and other occasions, taking a deposit at the time of booking means we minimise risk of non-payment and last minute cancellations.


CAN I CHANGE MY BOOKING TIME?

Once we have issued your invoice and payment has been received, your booking date and time is secured.

Due to demand, it’s not always possible to alter timing should things change at your end. We will always do our best to accomodate any change to ensure the booking goes ahead without issue, but it’s not something we can guarantee. During peak times particularly, any timing change should be flagged immediately and we will confirm options.

If the change means we can no longer make the timing for your booking work due to other bookings, travel time or extenuating circumstances, you will forfeit any deposit paid and we will issue a credit note for other payments made, for future use.


DOES platter co. OFFER corporate CATERING?

Yes! We’d love to cater your next corporate function, staff meeting or team event! Whether it’s in person or delivering remotely, we can customise a catering option to best suit you and your team.


What is Platter Co’s cancellation policy?

Please ensure you contact us at least 30 days out from your booking date if you’d like to alter the booking in any way (date, timing, location, platter size & option) or wish to reschedule. If you want to cancel your booking (table or box) after the deposit is paid, Platter Co will retain the deposit. If it’s within 30 days of the booking date, Platter Co. will retain the deposit paid and credit other payments made. If it’s within two weeks of your booking, Platter Co. will retain all payments made.

If pandemic restrictions impact any booking (table or box), we will issue a ‘no expiration date’ credit for the amount paid.
